  1. Please fill out the provided questionnaire to give Anna Lee a sense of your existing skills, your dog’s needs, and any special requests you might have.
  2. Each dog is guaranteed at least 3 hours of working time outside their crate throughout the day as we assess the individuals alignment, movement, and work through a variety of exercises.
  3. I cannot emphasize enough that being able to rest quietly between working time is incredibly important. We will be working your dog’s body as well as their brain, so recharging is critical for both of you to get the most out of your workshop.
  4. Please bring a variety of treats, ranging from very low level reinforcers, to very high level. If your dog likes a toy, feel free to bring that along with a variety of treats.
  5. Bringing a chair, writing utensils / tablet and an optional tripod to record your own dog will be help you get he most out of your experience.
  6. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.

Posture & Gait Analysis

  1. Please fill out the questionnaire included in our previous correspondence, if you have not done so yet. This ensures I am prepared with the materials I need to get the most out of our time together.
  2. Each working session will be 45 min, with 15 min at the end to ensure a smooth transition between dog / handler teams.
  3. Please arrive 15 min early, to potty your dog and get settled.
  4. Anna Lee or Darcy will come to get you when the previous team is finished. This ensures safety as it’s likely the dog working before you will be off leash.
  5. Please bring a variety of treats, ranging from very low level reinforcers, to very high level. If your dog likes a toy, feel free to bring that along with a variety of treats.
  6. All equipment you need will be provided. If you have a dog who you think would benefit from being crated for short breaks between exercises, feel free to bring a crate or soft crate.
  7. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.

Custom Workout / Troubleshooting

  1. You are welcome to record your session, just please do not post the audio component on social media.
  2. If your questionnaire is completed fully, you will be provided with handouts to facilitate continuing your exercises at home.
  3. Please do fill out the liability waiver ahead of time, so we don’t have to waste time on that kind of housekeeping.

Posture & Gait Analysis

  1. Posture and gait analysis is best conducted on a leash & collar or slip lead. Harnesses tend to corrupt the data. So please bring a leash and collar option to use during the gait analysis portion.
  2. I will record our session, ensuring we get the correct views / angles to ensure the most useable video possible.
  3. I am happy to make an initial assessment of the restrictions or imbalances present in your pup… But the real definitive assessment will happen after I get a chance to review the video frame by frame.
  4. After our session, I will review the video carefully, and make you up a PDF of my findings, any suggestions regarding things to implement, any things to avoid, etc.
  5. These findings, including my full and detailed report will be emailed to you within a week.
